The Location  The Riverfront Cultural Society is located along the levee walk in New Haven, Missouri at 1108 Olive Street, in the historic Mercantile building. Built by the Granneman family in 1872, it served for many years as a general merchandise store and retains much of the character of that by-gone era. Steamboats were able to pull practically right up to the door to bring shoppers and deliver goods. A ferry regularly brought customers across the Missouri river from Treloar and other rural communities to shop at the well known store.

The Organization  RCS is a not-for-profit organization founded in the fall of 2005 and operates with a volunteer staff. The purpose of the organization is to provide a place for folks to gather, as a visitor or a regular patron, to hear great music and enjoy a variety of activities and events. The Riverfront Cultural Society does not discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color, or religion.

What's Goin' On  You'll find great live music by a variety of musicians, some nationally known. Other offerings include special events, dinners, open mic, and outside concerts. Check back for the most up-to-date schedule of events on the Calendar.  You can send us a note to be added to our email list or click "like" on our Facebook page to get notices on upcoming events.

Come to experience a unique and charming venue and help support this musical oasis in the heart of Missouri wine country. No matter your interests, you are sure to find something to suit your taste at the Riverfront Cultural Society!
